Let Rad Rydz keep your golf cart or LSV operating at peak performance and safely as possible. Regardless of usage, we recommend servicing annually due to our corrosive coastal environment. We service all major brands of golf carts and LSV’s.
For your convenience, we offer pick-up and drop-off service.
Just like any vehicle, your golf cart requires regular maintenance and repairs to stay in top running condition. Batteries will eventually have difficulty maintaining a charge. Drive motors wear down and electrical systems break down. Gas engines require oil and filter changes. Suspension bushings become worn, causing a rough rides or worse, unsafe steering. Let our team of experienced techs keep your Ride in Rad condition.
Before we do any repairs, our experienced technicians put each cart through a multi-point check list. We will provide you with a detailed estimate for any recommended repairs.
- Check front and rear brakes.
- Check emergency brake adjustment and cable condition.
- Check brake system for correct pedal height and pressure.
- Check all battery connections for corrosion and electrolyte levels.
- Check the state of charge (volt reading) on the batteries.
- Lubricate and grease all 29 pivot points on LSVs and 18 points on golf carts.

Check for any loose fasteners (nuts, bolts, screws)

Check and clean differential breather.

Check all fluids including rear differential and brake fluid.

Check vehicle front end alignment.

Check all suspension and steering bushings.

Battery Testing and Renewal

Sulfation is the accumulation of hard lead sulfate crystals, and the main reason for capacity and efficiency loss in lead-acid batteries. Sulfate crystals can develop rapidly and cannot be broken down by charging alone. Over time, sulfate crystals rob capacity from the battery. This causes the battery to lose its ability to fully charge, requiring more frequent charging and shortens the run time of your golf cart. As sulfation increases, so does the need to replace batteries. By desulfating your batteries you can give them a second lift at less than half the cost of replacing your golf cart batteries..
Rad Rydz offers desulfation using the latest technology from FSIP. The FSIP Xtender Battery Regenerator is designed to be an all-in-one machine for discharging, desulfating and recharging all types of lead-acid batteries. The Xtender uses a high frequency pulsation process to break down lead sulfate crystals. It is a fully automated machine; safely discharging, desulfating and restoring batteries in less than 48 hours.
Maintance Options
Gas Engine Maintenance
requires regular oil and filter changes as well as air and fuel filter changes. Carburetors are notoriously prone to problems if not run regularly and properly maintained.
Suspension and Steering Components
come under a lot of stress, especially with larger tires and lift kits. Ride quality can suffer and worse, steering can be affected causing safety issues. Regular inspections and repairs are recommended.
Electrical Systems
such as switches, controls and lighting are exposed to the elements and can cause numerous problems.
